Some of the longer questions in an exam paper are often about conducting an experiment of one kind or another. Typically you will be told what the basic idea is, maybe shown a diagram or other drawing of the experiment. You then usually have to describe how you would conduct the experiment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Somewhere in the question will be a statement about what the experiment is attempting to work out. For example it might say something like “A student wants to investigate how acceleration is affected by mass”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
